Another Idiot Money Making Scheme
Go read this then come on back. I’ll wait.
… waiting…
…waiting…
Ok, read it? Good. Now, a few questions popped into my head when i heard about this.
Can someone tell me which idiot allowed a company to patent the use of images as links? Which moron actually allowed an already stupid and obvious money-making scheme to go through? Does this particular nutcase even know that using an image as a link is a COMMON and GENERIC web function and is in no way even allowed to be patented? The patent office that approved this should be shot.
Let’s move on to the money-grabbing company who patented it ok? So, since my side bar images links to different pages, I can be sued for not paying them. Anyone even see the error and non-logic in that? Apparently, the owners of the company thought it’ll be oh-so-great to earn money off something that people have been using since we allowed graphics on the net!
If they try to sue me, I’m not going to give in so easily. I’ll bring it all the way to the courts where the judge will throw their stupid little case out and fine them for wasting everyone’s time.
P.S.: Found out that the person behind this ridiculous patent is Mr Ronald Neville Langford, an Aussie. He’s starting his “attacks” on Singapore first, then plan to go Australia, US and other places. I don’t think he’ll make it past Malaysia.
